Polyamorous and non-monogamous folks have spent years making do with tools that were never built for us. Dating apps designed around one person finding one other person leave us translating our lives into a shape that doesn't fit and getting lost in a sea of people who aren't looking for what we are. PolyConstellation exists to change that.
The problem we're solving
Mainstream platforms have grown more open over the years, but they're still built on a monogamous foundation. Profiles assume a single partner. Matching assumes a single outcome. For those of us seeking ethical non-monogamy, that means false starts, mismatched expectations, and a lot of noise to sift through before finding someone whose experience actually mirrors our own. As a minority on those apps, poly people get lost and fed false positives when what we really need is a space designed around how we actually connect.
What we're building
PolyConstellation is a home for the whole community: a platform designed from the ground up around the realities of polyamorous life. Our vision brings together everything poly people currently jerry-rig from apps that weren't made for them a dating and matching experience built for non-monogamous people, scheduling tools that respect multiple relationships, and relationship-mapping that makes complexity feel clear instead of chaotic. Because the platform is exclusively for the non-monogamous community, you spend less time filtering out people who aren't looking for what you are, and more time finding connections that genuinely fit.
Coming Soon: your Constellation
Our first tool is the PolyConstellation, a visual relationship generator that lets you map and showcase the people who matter most to you. Relationships get layered fast when more than two people are involved, and a picture says what words struggle to. The Constellation will be our first live tool and it's the heart of everything we're building next.
On the horizon
A dedicated poly dating and matching platform, shared scheduling and calendar tools, poly oriented social platform and messaging tools, and deeper relationship-mapping features are all in active development — each one designed to plug right into the Constellation you've already built.
Meet the founder
PolyConstellation was founded by Emma Bufalini, a serial entrepreneur and self-taught full-stack developer who has been part of the polyamorous community for over a decade. After years of frustration with dating platforms built for monogamous relationships, Emma began learning to code so she could build the app she always wished existed.
Drawing on 11 years of lived experience in the community and 7 years of coaching other business owners on fundamentals, marketing, client retention, and social media, she brings both the technical skill and the insider's insight to build something the community can trust. Her belief is simple: poly people deserve tools made for how they actually love.
